With winter in full swing and extortionate fuel bills arriving on customer’s door mats, there has never been a better time to get your home properly insulated – which will not only make it more comfortable and save significant sums on your fuel bills it will also help reduce your carbon footprint.
The National Insulation Association (NIA), which represents the UK’s home insulation industry, has published a consumer advice leaflet ‘A Guide to Insulation’ which tells you everything you need to know about the different types of insulation available for your home. The leaflet also opens out into a poster which illustrates how quick and easy it is to have cavity wall
insulation installed in your home.
NIA members offer a free home survey and can advise you of the most suitable type of insulation for your home as well as give you details of any grants or subsidies you may be entitled to.
