Addressing hard to treat walls is now recognised as being crucial to improving many of the most thermally inefficient homes, and a variety of government initiatives are being implemented or in the pipeline. The session examined the drivers for the implementatation of solid wall solutions, as well as the technologies, performance and standards.

Presentation to Energy Efficiency Advice Centre
John Mason gave this presentation to staff at the EEAC in March 2008 as part of a training exercise. The new Green Homes funding will lead to the creation of ESTAC's and in line with this, John Mason provided a summary of information to advice providers as part of the industry's policy of supporting such initiatives.
